Key Lime Coconut Rum was my first brain child. I was living in the Florida Keys where key limes and coconut rum are plentiful. I started puttering in my kitchen with Key Lime Juice and Coconut Rum and made a Bundt Cake.  A friend who owned a restaurant in town came over for coffee and loved the cake and asked me to make it for her restaurant. I did. Before I knew it I was baking two dozen Bundt cakes a week and taking orders. Then tourists wanted to take some home.  So I decided to bake it in a jar so it could be preserved.  I made Gift Baskets for friends and relatives. I had so much demand for "Cakes-in-a-Jar" that I developed more recipes, and my son gave me the name “Mama Ceda” -- because of all my cooking he would bring all his friends home for "Mama Ceda's" home cooking. And my then 8 year-old grandson designed my logo. He wanted it to look like me, “a Little Italian Lady who wears hats and glasses dressed in my blue denim apron and red scarf around my neck”.  I started taking orders for Gift Baskets.

The Dammit Dolls and Whammit Dolls I designed for my children when they were teens, to help them with the "stress and frustrations".  Then I found myself making them for all their friends…

The Italian Sausage Bread recipe was handed down to me from my grandmother from Italy.  As a little girl, I watched her make the loaves of bread, and now, today, I bake them in a jar. She would be so proud of me!  My Gift Baskets I started for family and friends for Easter, Mother's Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Birthdays, Anniversaries.

Flowers are pretty for a few days. Cakes-in-a-Jar Gift Baskets and Dammit and Whammit Dolls are enjoyed and remembered, and they always want "more".  Dammit Dolls are for adults to relieve stress and frustrations.  Whammit Dolls for children are a MUST to relieve the stress of adults.  And Cakes-in-a-Jar are to be enjoyed after the Stress and Frustrations are gone... :-)
